Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of grok-voice.net ("Grok Voice", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the generator you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The Service

Grok Voice is an independent online text to speech tool and an explainer site about xAI's Grok Voice models. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by xAI. "Grok" is a trademark of its owner and is used here only to describe the topic of the site. AI speech is unpredictable: pronunciation and delivery may not match what you expect, and we cannot guarantee a specific quality, speed or availability.

Accounts

You need an account to generate audio. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person may not create multiple accounts to collect free credits; we may remove credits or accounts created this way.

Credits, Plans And Payments

• Each generation costs credits. The cost is shown in the generator before you start and depends on how long your text is.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Subscription credits are granted each billing period. One-time credit packs do not expire while your account is active.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars unless shown otherwise.

Refunds

• If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• If you were charged for a plan you did not intend to buy and have used few or no credits, email [email protected] within 7 days of the charge and we will review a refund.
• Credits that have already been used to generate audio are generally not refundable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Grok Voice to create or share audio that:

• impersonates a real person, or is presented as a real person's words when it is not;
• is used for fraud, scams, fake emergency calls or to get around voice-based security checks;
• is sexual content involving minors, or harasses, threatens or promotes violence or hatred against people;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
• is otherwise illegal where you live or where it is shared.

You also agree not to attack, scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service. We may refuse text, remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your Content

You keep whatever rights you have in the text you submit. Subject to these terms and the law, you may use the audio generated for you for personal and commercial purposes, such as voiceovers, videos, podcasts and courses. You are responsible for having the rights to the text you submit and for how you use the results, including telling listeners that a voice is AI-generated where the law requires it. You give us permission to store and process your content only as needed to run the service.

Our Content

The site's design, text, code and branding belong to Grok Voice. Third-party names such as xAI, Grok, OpenAI and Google are trademarks of their respective owners.

Disclaimers And Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Changes And Termination

We may update these terms; if the change is significant we will update the date above. You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms.
